Seabury School is an independent school serving students in preschool through 8th grade. As the only independent school for highly capable students in the South Puget Sound region, Seabury offers passionate, energetic, creative educators the opportunity to help bright children discover their potential as learners through a thematic curriculum and an emphasis on the development of critical and creative thinking. Founded on research based best practices for gifted students, Seabury's program is designed to address the needs of the whole child, from providing appropriate intellectual challenge to supporting students' social-emotional growth. The core of Seabury's program is an integrated, project-based curriculum designed to challenge students to think deeply, explore complex ideas, make connections and apply learning in new and unique ways. Seabury's program focuses on personalized learning for each child in a setting that is both developmentally appropriate and intellectually stimulating, allowing each student to recognize and develop their gifts and talents.

Substitute teachers

Seabury is looking for substitute teachers. A current teaching credential and a Bachelor’s degree are required. Primary grade teaching experience and a background in gifted education is preferred.
