Affording a Seabury Education
Seabury School offers tuition assistance to qualifying students based on need and available funds. Assistance is awarded only after a student has been offered admission to Seabury. We contract with School & Student Services (SSS) to help in the qualification process. After reviewing your application, they provide us with a recommendation of an aid award. Our Financial Aid committee then meets to review the aid application, SSS recommendation, and a copy of your current tax return.
To apply for aid, visit solutionsbysss.com.
Much of Seabury’s strength reflects the interest and involvement of parents and extended family members. The annual, mandatory 20 hours of volunteer service per family contributes significantly. A vital sense of "community" impacts the breadth and depth of our entire offering.
Seabury’s middle school program is laptop-based. Students use laptops for class work and research, to keep track of assignments and email using Outlook, as well as for a variety of media and applications in their technology and integrated arts program. Students use Seabury’s wireless system to access the school’s servers and Exchange email server, as well as the world through the internet.
Information about purchasing your child’s laptop will be made available in April. Seabury has built a relationship with our IT provider so that students get the technology they need at the most reasonable price. Once cost information is available for student laptops, Seabury will work with you regarding the purchase.
